Pyrography
the art of woodburning
Each piece is handmade, slowly burned, at high heat. Boasting freehand crisp lines and the precision of an artist with a background in skilled surgical training, Jo Grubman uses a heated, wire-tipped instrument and, when she's feeling nostalgic for the OR, even a scalpel. Find her on social media to see this process in action.
